David Hyde Pierce and Glenne Headley will star in Anne Nelson’s The Guys Sept. 17-Oct. 11 at the Actor’s Gang in Los Angeles.
Hyde Pierce, who plays a fire chief, attempting to write the obituaries for his men lost in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade center, recently trod the L.A. boards in well-received Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks at the Geffen Theatre. He is best known for his role as Niles on TV’s "Fraiser."
A member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Headley’s theatre credits include Balm in Gilead, Coyote Ugly, The Philanthropist, The Miss Firecracker Contest and Broadway’s Arms and the Man. Her film credits include "Mr. Holland’s Opus," "Dick Tracy," "Timecode" and "What’s the Worst That Could Happen?." Headley plays an editor who wants to help Hyde Pierce’s fire chief write the fire fighters’ obits.
Tickets to The Guys are $40 ($15 tickets are available to firefighters). The Actors' Gang is located at 6209 Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood. For reservations, call (323) 465 0566.
