Directed by Jeremy Dobrish, the readings feature the talents of Sarah Davis, Leo Ash Evens, David Hibbard, William Parry, Noah Ruff, Nancy Ringham, Jason Michael Snow, Douglas Ullman Jr. and Carl N. Wallnau. Music direction is by Matt Castle. Signs of Life features music by Joel Derfner, lyrics by Len Schiff and a book by Peter Ullian. The musical, according to press notes, is "an exploration of life in the Jewish artists' ghetto created by the Nazis in the Czech town of Terezin during World War II. Hitler renamed it Theresienstadt and his propaganda cynically proclaimed it 'A City for the Jews.'"

Show times are April 28 at 1:30 and 7:30 PM (both sold out), April 29 at 7:30 PM and April 30 at 3 PM.

The Actors Playhouse is located in Manhattan at 100 Seventh Avenue South. For tickets, priced $18, call (212) 563-2565 or visit www.amasmusical.org.
