International News Dear Evan Hansen Sets Dates in London's West End The Tony-winning musical heads to the Noël Coward Theatre.

The Tony-winning Best Musical Dear Evan Hansen has set dates for its previously announced London debut. Previews will begin at the Noël Coward Theatre in the West End October 29 with an official opening scheduled for November 19 at 7 PM.

Casting, from Jill Green Casting, will be revealed at a later date.

Tickets for those who registered for priority booking will go on sale February 28 at noon GMT; public booking will follow beginning April 8 at 10 AM GMT.

The hit musical, about an anxiety-ridden high schooler whose lie spins out of control and places him in the digital spotlight, opened in December 2016 at Broadway's Music Box Theatre. A national tour launched in September 2018, with the first international production slated to begin in March in Toronto. A novelization of the story was released in October.

Dear Evan Hansen earned six Tony Awards in 2017: Best Musical, Best Score for composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, Best Book for Steven Levenson, Best Orchestrations for Alex Lacamoire, and wins for original stars Ben Platt and Rachel Bay Jones.

Reuniting the original Broadway creative team for the West End production, Dear Evan Hansen is directed by Michael Greif and features scenic design by David Korins, projection design by Peter Nigrini, costume design by Emily Rebholz, lighting design by Japhy Weideman, sound design by Nevin Steinberg, and hair design by David Brian Brown. Stacey Mindich produces.
