Steven Levenson, who won a Tony Award earlier this year for penning the book of Dear Evan Hansen, will write the script for a new drama for Fox based on the biblical story of Adam and Eve.

Adam & Eva, a modern-day adaptation based on the 2011 Dutch series A’dam – E.V.A., will be produced by Marc Platt (La La Land, Wicked, Grease: Live) and Adam Siegel with Scripted World, according to Deadline.

Levenson is also at work on the screenplay for a movie musical starring Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell, which Platt (father of Dear Evan Hansen star Ben Platt) will produce.
