Previews will begin at the Off-Broadway venue Feb. 23 with an official opening scheduled for March 7. Performances will continue through April 18. Paul Perroni will star in the one-man show, which was penned by Rob Becker.

"With hilarious insights on contemporary feminism, masculine sensitivity and the erogenous zone," Defending the Caveman, according to press notes, "mines the common themes in relationships that go straight through the funny bone and into the heart. Defending the Caveman makes us laugh at ourselves and all the ways that men and woman fight, laugh and love."

Perroni has also been seen as Edmund Tyrone in Long Day’s Journey Into Night, Cassius in Julius Caesar and in a recurring role as Comedian/DJ Johnny Hughes in The Awesome 80’s Prom.

Performances will be Tuesdays at 7 PM, Wednesdays through Fridays at 8 PM, Saturdays at 5 PM and Sundays at 3 PM.
