PlayBlog "Diary of a Chorus Girl" Webseries Follows Catch Me If You Can's Alex Ellis in Broadway Debut (Video) All the joys and challenges of making a Broadway debut will be chronicled in "Diary of a Chorus Girl," a ten-episode webseries that follows Alex Ellis as she takes her first bow on the Main Stem in the ensemble of Catch Me If You Can.


The series is directed by Sara Wolkowitz and presented by the YouTube channel DanceOn. Music by The Kick Drums is featured. Episodes will go live every Wednesday beginning March 15 and continuing through May 18.

According to press notes, "The first webseries of its kind, 'Diary of a Chorus Girl' documents the making of Broadway’s Catch Me If You Can from its first rehearsal to opening night through the eyes of a real-life chorus girl in her Broadway debut, Alex Ellis. From grueling dance rehearsals in 6-inch heels, to glamorous photo shoots, to balancing a personal life, Alex Ellis takes viewers on a theatrical journey showing what it really takes to make it on the Great White Way."
