The Ensemble Studio Theatre (EST) production of Michael Louis Wells' District Of Columbia opens at Ensemble Studio Theatre on March 6. Previews began March 1. The show runs through March 26.
Directed by Jamie Richards, the full-length play is a "serious comedy" about a group of seven people who are "decidedly out of touch with the mainstream."
The cast includes Brad Bellamy, Miranda Black, Geneva Carr, Thomas Lyons, Joseph Lyle Taylor, Chris Wight and Janet Zarish, who play a diverse group of young people facing eviction from a mysterious and devious landlord.
The production team comprises set designer Bruce Goodrich, costume designer Julie Doyle, lighting designer Greg MacPherson and sound designer Rob Gould.

His other plays include Seven Pages Unsigned, Fourth Time Around, Video Guy, The "I" Word: Interns (Marathon ’99) and Fifth Floor Walk-up, a trilogy of short plays consisting of Friends?, Hermit of Ninth Avenue, and Same Difference.
