News Donna Bullock, Rachel de Benedet, Kristin Maloney Will Star in Concert Production of Nothing Is Forever UnsungMusicalsCo. Inc. will present a concert production of the new musical song cycle Nothing is Forever by Pulitzer Prize and Grammy Award winner Morton Gould and Tony and Grammy Award nominee Carolyn Leigh.

Conceived and directed by UMC artistic director Ben West, performances are scheduled for March 11-12 at the Connelly Theatre, 220 East Fourth Street.

The cast will feature Obie Award winner Donna Bullock (Ragtime, A Class Act), Astaire Award nominee Rachel de Benedet (Catch Me If You Can, Adrift in Macao) and Drama League nominee Kristin Maloney.

Nothing is Forever is described as a "dazzling musical portrait of one woman at three different decades in her life. Romance, cynicism and regret intertwine in this evocative and timely tale set in New Orleans’ vibrant French Quarter."

The production will also feature musical direction and arrangements by Fran Minarik and lighting design by Joe Hodge. The new song cycle was created using original material written circa 1977 for the unproduced Broadway musical Enter Juliet.

UMC is currently presenting a new production of the hit 1948 revue Make Mine Manhattan at the Connelly Theatre with performances March 1-17. (Nothing is Forever will play two of the dark nights.)
