"Who knows what evil lurks in the minds of men?"

The paraphrased tagline for Walter Gibson's pulp and radio hero, The Shadow, put as such, can summarize the Double Helix Productions presentation, The Four Corners of Suburbia. The new Elizabeth Puccini drama that began Sept. 21 and officially opened Sept. 22 will close close as scheduled, Oct. 8 at the Off-Off Broadway 30th Street Theatre.

Four Corners focuses on the life and mind of a New England grammar school teacher. During his summer break, the memory of a woman resurfaces and presents a dilemma to what is now a family man. And when a childhood friend visits, he is faced with a life-altering situation.

Puccini has written two screenplays, "Theory of Everything" and "The Linden Tree," as well as a novel, "30 Revolutions Around the Sun." Four Corners is her first play.

Alan Langdon (Occupations, Domestic Issues) directs a cast that includes Emily Brannen, David Heckel, Brian Letscher, Jamie Marrs, Jamie Watkins, and Eddie Weiss. The production features sets by Yoon Jin Kim, lights by Michael L. Kimmel, and video by Joanne Nerenberg.
