News Drama Book Shop to Welcome Edelstein, Guirgis, Flanigan, Walter and More Manhattan's Drama Book Shop will host several theatre-related chats in the next few weeks.

Theatre director Barry Edelstein will take part in a free evening titled Bardisms April 14 at 6 PM. The Shakespeare scholar will "talk about his work with the Public Theater and how a director is a combination of literary figure and practitioner," according to press notes. A free evening with playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis and acting coach Maggie Flanigan will be presented April 17 at 6 PM. Guirgis and fellow LAByrinth company members will read selections from Guirgis' The Little Flower of East Orange. Guirgis will also be available following the reading to autograph copies of Flower and his other works.

On May 4 at 6 PM, actress Harriet Walter, currently on Broadway in the revival of Mary Stuart, will chat with theatre critic David Finkle about her book "Other People's Shoes." This event is also free and open to the public.
