News Drama League Will Hold Open Rehearsal for Fill Our Mouths, Featuring Cast of Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Performers A free open rehearsal of Lauren Feldman's new play Fill Our Mouths will be held Aug. 1 from 2-3 PM at The Drama League Theater Center in New York City as part of the Drama League's New Directors/New Works series.

Directed by Lauren Keating, Fill Our Mouths features a cast of deaf, hearing and hard-of-hearing performers and American Sign Language interpreters, including Craig Fogel, Ashley Graham, Monique Holt, Irene Sofia Lucio (Wit), Claire Morrison, Moses Villarama, Alexandria Wailes (Big River) and Amy Kim Waschke. This new bilingual work, according to the Drama League, "follows the journey of two women as their concepts of language and love change. Collaborating with a cast of deaf, hearing and hard-of-hearing performers and American Sign Language interpreters, Fill Our Mouths explores relationships, the power and failure of language and the need for self-identification. Above all, Fill Our Mouths is a love story that explores the most integral connection of the human experience."

Playwright Feldman's other works include Amanuensis; The Egg-Layers; A People; and Grace, or The Art of Climbing, among others.
