News Drama League's Spring Season of Events Will Feature Tyne Daly, Donna Murphy, Julie Taymor and More The Drama League will present evenings with Tony Award winners Tyne Daly, Terrence McNally, Donna Murphy, Julie Taymor, William Ivey Long and the composing team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty in its Spring 2014 season of events.

The spring will include the new play-meets-poetry-slam series Rough Draft and classes that include a Bouffon Performance Workshop and "Beyond Kickstarter: Fundraising for Small Companies."

The Up Close series will feature conversations with costume designer Long April 14, Passion and The King and I star Murphy April 21, Rocky composing team Ahrens and Flaherty April 23, The Lion King director Taymor May 5 and Mothers and Sons star and playwright Daly and McNally May 12.

The Artists-in-Residence Developmental events include Eyes A Surprise: A Gertrude Stein Workshop March 25, Transgender Representation On Stage May 8 and Environmentalism and Theater June 14. The Rough Draft New Play Development Series will include Rough Draft: Shoot The Freak by Lancelot Hamelin April 16 and Rough Draft: More Than 16 Kisses devised by Rebecca Holderness and Ensemble June 6.

Classes and workshops include "Yoga For Artists" with Laura Brandel, a Bouffon Physical Performance Workshop taught by Adam Lazarus and "Beyond Kickstarter: Fundraising for Small Companies" with Toby Banks.
