Lullaby of Broadway, the Life & Lyrics of Al Dubin received its world premiere at the Tiffany Theatre in West Hollywood, CA, on Dec. 1 and the reviews were positive.

It's a musical drama based on the life of lyricist Dubin -- best known for 42nd Street -- with a book by Joel Kimmel and music by Dubin's longtime partner Harry Warren.

The cast includes Nathan Holland as Dubin, Heather Lee as his wife and Kirby Tepper as Warren. The director is David Galligan.

Dubin's songs include "About a Quarter to Nine," "You're Getting To Be a Habit with Me, "We're in the Money," "I Only Have Eyes for You," "Lulu's Back in Town," Tiptoe Through the Tulips" and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams."

The Los Angeles Times called the show a "feel-good musical . . . a treat for musical lovers." Late last week syndicated columnist Cindy Adams wrote that the show's producer, Corky Hale, is hoping Lullaby will make it to Broadway and that she would like to snag Jason Alexander and Bernadette Peters for the leads.

Lullaby of Broadway is at the Tiffany Theatre, 8532 Sunset Blvd., and is scheduled to close on Jan. 25. For more information, call (310) 289-2999.
