News Dudley and Miller Plays Launch Keen Teens Two new plays written by Anton Dudley and Winter Miller and starring high school students will go up May 17-20 Off-Broadway at Theatre Row as part of Keen Teens, a new education program launched by Keen Company and Playscripts, Inc.

Each year, Keen Company will produce two new plays written by professional playwrights and intended for high school students to perform. The world premieres will star New York area teens and will go up at Theatre Row in productions directed and designed by professionals. Playscripts will publish and license the plays.

Blake Lawrence, an artistic associate for Keen Company, leads the new program.

Press notes describe the plays as such: "Anton Dudley’s Circumvention is structured loosely after La Ronde, and is the story of a young woman's hope of traveling the world without ever leaving her home. In Conspicuous, Winter Miller weaves stories of adoptees, adoptive parents, pregnant teens, and others to explore what constitutes a loving home."

Auditions for high school students take place on Feb. 7 and 8 from 3:30 PM to 6 PM at One on One Studios.

Theatre Row is at 410 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues. One on One Studios is at 126 West 23rd Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues, 4th floor Skylight Studios. For more info, visit www.keencompany.org or www.playscripts.com.
