Cast Party, the weekly show-biz soiree that has been drawing crowds this past year at Birdland, will play a one-night engagement at the John Drew Theater at Guild Hall on July 23. The 8 PM performance will feature the talents of Karen Mason as well as jazz singer Hilary Kole, song-and-dance man Jonny Peterson, bass player Steve Doyle and host Jim Caruso. A star of the musical theatre and cabaret stage, Karen Mason has appeared on Broadway in Mamma Mia!, Sunset Boulevard, Jerome Robbins' Broadway and Torch Song Trilogy. Her Off-Broadway credits include And the World Goes 'Round and Carnival, and she has also been seen on the small screen in "Law & Order" and "As the World Turns." A six-time MAC Award-winning performer, Mason has charmed audiences at Carnegie Hall, Rainbow & Stars, Davenport's and L.A.'s The Cinegrill. Her solo recordings include "When the Sun Comes Out," "Better Days," "Not So Simply Broadway" and "Christmas! Christmas! Christmas!"

Jim Caruso is the winner of four MAC Awards and two BackStage Magazine Bistro Awards. A founding member of the jazz vocal and comedy trio Wiseguys, Caruso's solo debut recording, "Caruso Live and in Person," is available on the LML Music label.
