Ebersole, Ross, Gillett and More Win MAC Awards

News   Ebersole, Ross, Gillett and More Win MAC Awards Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole, most recently on Broadway in Grey Gardens, won a Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs Award at the 22nd annual MAC Awards, which were presented at B.B. King Blues Club May 6.

Ebersole received the MAC Award for Female Celebrity Artist.

Lennie Watts directed the ceremony that also honored Singing Experience founder Linda Amiel Burns with the Board of Directors Award, Barnes and Noble "Any Wednesday" series creator Bart Greenberg with the Board of Directors Award, comedian Lewis Black with the Outstanding Achievement in Comedy Award and Grammy Award-winning vocalist Maureen McGovern with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Special Achievement Award was given to Bridget Everett and Kenny Melman.
