For the concert, she was accompanied by the 60-piece BBC Concert Orchestra and performed highlights from her 50-year career, which includes originating the roles of Eva Peron in Evita, Grizabella in Cats and Florence in Chess. She was also joined by guest tenor Gardar Thor Cortes.

In a press statement, Elizabeth Draper, head of distribution for ScreenLive, commented, "To be able to present a concert of this quality on the big screen in all its glory, coupled with a more intimate live performance from a star of Elaine's calibre, is a first for Event Cinema and a privilege for ScreenLive to work on."
