Willows Theatre Company is holding its first-time ever fundraising dinner/dance/auction on Friday, Sept. 20, 1996 at the Sheraton Concord Hotel (45 John Glenn Drive in Concord, CA -- The California Grand Ball Room) starting at 6:30 p.m. The fundraising event, termed "Pennies from Heaven," will include a four course meal, cabaret entertainment featuring stars of the Willows Theatre, silent and roving auction, raffle prizes and dancing. Trips to New York and Hawaii as well as Weekend get-a-ways to Medocino, Gold Country, Lake Tahoe will be raffled and auctioned off.
Proceeds from the fundraising benefit will go towards Willows' 1997 education programs as well as all of its productions . Tickets are $40 per person and are tax-deductible. For more information, Call Barbara Grant at the Willows Theatre, (510) 798-1300.
