News Everybody Rise! Elaine Stritch Plays Town Hall Oct. 22 The Seventh Annual Broadway Cabaret Festival, which was created, written and hosted for The Town Hall by Scott Siegel and kicked off Oct. 16 with an afternoon entitled Broadway Originals!, continues Oct. 22 with a solo concert by Broadway veteran Elaine Stritch.

Simply titled Elaine Stritch at the Town Hall, the Emmy and Tony-winning actress will play the famed venue at 8 PM. Rob Bowman is the musical director. Audiences can expect tunes from Stritch's recent Cafe Carlyle outing, Elaine Stritch At Home at the Carlyle: Singin' Sondheim... Again. Why Not?, and more.

The Broadway Cabaret Festival will conclude Oct. 28 at 8 PM with A Tribute To Judy Garland and The Art of American Dance. The evening will feature interviews with Lorna Luft about Judy Garland, and Susan Stroman about American Dance. The performers include Noah Racey (Never Gonna Dance, Curtains), Elizabeth Stanley (Million Dollar Quartet), Carole J. Bufford (11 O’Clock Numbers at 11 O’Clock at Feinstein’s at the Regency), and the New York Song and Dance Company. Ross Patterson is the musical director.
