Really Rosie, a musical by Carole King and Maurice Sendak about a sassy and talented young girl who loves to produce, direct and star in her own stage shows, will be performed by San Diego Junior Theatre at the Casa del Prado Theatre in Balboa Park July 7-16, directed by Will Neblett.Rosie spends her free time on the streets of Brooklyn, in front of her house, casting and directing her neighborhood of friends including Johnny, a bookish pal; Chicken Soup, Rosie's younger brother; Alligator, a fretful child who prefers being the cameraperson; Pierre, who dreams of becoming a lion; and Kathy, Rosie's best friend.
