Alistair Beaton's political comedy Feelgood will close at the Garrick Theatre on Oct. 27. The reason for the closure is that the producers have been unable re-cast the show, and the current cast leave on the completion of their contracts.

Alistair Beaton has continually updated the script for the play since it opened at the Hampstead theatre Jan. 31, prior to transferring to the Garrick Theatre in April.

Feelgood stars Henry Goodman, Nigel Planer ("The Young Ones"), Sian Thomas and Peter Capaldi, with direction by Max Stafford-Clark.

Garrick Theatre Box Office: 020 7-494 5085. A box office spokesperson had no word yet on what show would play at the Garrick next.
