News Finalists Revealed for "American Idol XIII" The Top 13 finalists for the hit Fox singing competition "American Idol" were announced Feb. 20.

The finalists for the 13th season are Ben Briley, Caleb Johnson, Jessica Meuse, MK Nobilette, Emily Piriz, Alex Preston, Dexter Roberts, Majesty Rose, Malaya Watson and Sam Woolf. After America’s votes were revealed, judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr. chose C.J. Harris, Jena Irene and Kristen O’Connor as wild card contestants. The competition will continue Feb. 26 at 8 PM ET when the Top 13 finalists perform songs that convey the message, “This is Me.” On Feb. 27,  also at 8 PM ET, one finalist’s journey will end as America’s vote is revealed. "American Idol" Season 12 winner Candice Glover will perform a medley of “Cried” and “Same Kinda Man” from her debut album, and critically acclaimed singer Jake Bugg also will perform.

Former "American Idol" contestants who have taken to Broadway after their stint on "Idol" include Fantasia Barrino (The Color Purple, After Midnight), Taylor Hicks (Grease), Clay Aiken (Spamalot), Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis (Jekyll and Hyde, Rock of Ages), Diana DeGarmo (Hairspray, Hair), Frenchie Davis (Rent) and Jordin Sparks (In the Heights) as well as former "Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi (Chicago), among others.
