There will be no more swingin' and struttin' at the Florida Studio Theatre after May 19. Fran Charnas' The All Night Strut closes then, after beginning performances back on March 28. The 1930s and 40s retrospective revue is directed by FST artistic director Richard Hopkins.

With the songs of Duke Ellington, Hoagy Carmichael, Cab Calloway and Johnny Mercer, Strut returns to an era when the hit parade featured "Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?," "I'll Be Seeing You," "Minnie the Moocher," "In the Mood," "Fascinating Rhythm," and "As Time Goes By." Charnas' revue has been produced in Boston, New York City and Detroit.

Strut stars Erin Eichberg, Jannie Jones (EST's Blues in the Night), Kevin Michael Kennedy and Jeff Whiting.
