The cast of Forbidden Broadway Cleans Up Its Act will perform their musical parodies at the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College April 17 at 8 PM.

This edition's additions will likely include swipes at Footloose, Annie Get Your Gun and The Sound of Music, alongside Rent, Miss Saigon and, of course, Cats.

The product of creator-writer-director Gerard Alessandrini, Forbidden Broadway has been performing Off-Broadway for 15 years. Its current home is the Stardust Theatre downstairs in Ellen's Stardust Diner, next door to the Winter Garden Theatre at Broadway and 51st Street.

Tickets are $37-$28 and available by calling (718) 951-4500. The Walt Whitman Theatre is located on the campus of Brooklyn College, one block from the junction at Flatbush and Nostrand.

DRG Records will soon be releasing an original cast recording of Forbidden Broadway Cleans Up Its Act -- the fourth FB collection to be saved on disk. -- By Christine Ehren
