One of the greatest American playwrights receives a four month celebration at Hollywood's Fountain Theatre, commencing with a collection of one-acts Four By Tennessee, running on the intimate second stage, June 28 through July 28.

The four plays by Tennessee Williams include Lord Byron's Love Letter, I Can't Imagine Tomorrow, A Perfect Analysis Given By a Parrot, and The Strangest Kind of Romance. The festival continues with one person shows, readings and lectures, and closes with a mainstage production of Orphans Descending directed by Simon Levy, running Aug. 1-Sept. 14.

Recently, Levy , producing director/dramaturg at the Fountain, received the 1996 PEN West literary Award for his stage adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's, Tender is the Night. The 1995 world premiere production at the Fountain received many awards, including seven Drama-Logue Awards and two Ovations Awards.

The Williams-Fest begins, and Four By Tennessee includes runs Wednesdays at 8 PM; Sat 5 PM; Sun 3 PM.
