Deadline reports that Gail Berman and Robert Horn will co-executive produce the series, which will focus on a "group of four backup singers who become an unconventional family, despite the fact that each of them thinks they have what it takes to be the star."
Horn, who has signed on the write the series, has also written the book for 13 and Moonshine: That Hee Haw Musical, which recently debuted at Dallas Theater Center.
No further information about the series has been announced.
