The Actors' Fund of America is sponsoring a third annual "AIDS and the arts conference" called "Tomorrow in the Face of Hope and Uncertainty" Oct. 30 in New York City.

The free 10 AM-4:30 PM event offers artists and performers the chance to share experiences about how AIDS and new drug therapies have influenced their work and personal lives. The conference will include panel discussions by artists and mental health professionals infected and affected by HIV and AIDS, theatrical and musical performances and an arts exhibition/video installation.

"Tomorrow in the Face of Hope and Uncertainty" will be held at Judson Memorial Center Church, 55 Washington Square South in Greenwich Village.

Other organizers of the event include HIV Arts Network, Mayer-Avedon Women's Support Group and Alpha Workshop, with grants from Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Visual AIDS and SFC Charitable Foundation.
