News Free Songbook Season Concludes with "Stars of Tomorrow" May 24 Presented by Arts and Artists, the acclaimed Songbook season will conclude May 24 with a concert titled "Stars of Tomorrow."

Held at 6 PM at the Donnell Library Theater, the evening will feature composers and lyricists who are currently part of the famed BMI Musical Theater Writers' Workshop. Their work will be performed by talents from the worlds of Broadway and cabaret. Among those scheduled to take part in the one-night-only event are Karl Mansfield, Michael Scheman, Peter Morris, Mat Eisenstien, Gayla Morgan, Chris Widney, Rick Hip Flores, David Turner, Neil Bartram, Barbara Anselmi, Will Randall, Benjamin Morss, Bernie Anderson, Todd Yard, Carla Arnone, Jason Coll, Valerie Sciarra, D.D. Jackson, Carl Kissin, Ernie Lijoi, Madeline Stone, Kevin Laursen and Brian Lowdermilk. John Znidarsic, who produced the concert, will also serve as host. The Songbook series, now in its 14th year, presents "the newest music of Broadway in live performance by today's brightest talents." The works of Jason Robert Brown, Andrew Lippa, Gerard Alessandrini and John Bucchino have all been part of the acclaimed series.
