News Freeman Is Every Woman at the Cutting Room July 11 Drama Desk Award winner Cheryl Freeman returns to the Cutting Room with her solo-show I'm Every Woman July 11.

I'm Every Woman is described as "a musical journey through love, loss and rebirth featuring an eclectic mix of pop, R&B and standards from the 1940's to the present." During the 8 PM concert, Freeman will perform songs including "I'm Every Woman," "I Who Have Nothing," "Feeling Good," "Smile" and the hit song "Miss Independent."

A Drama Desk and Outer Critic Circle Award winner for her performance in The Civil War, Freeman portrayed the Acid Queen in the Broadway premiere of The Who's Tommy, and counts among her Broadway credits Amen Corner, Show Boat and Play On! Freeman most recently starred as Vickie Latrell in the Off-Broadway musical Walmartopia.

The Cutting Room is located in Manhattan at 19 West 24th Street, between Broadway and Sixth Avenue. There is a $20 cover. Reservations can be made by calling (212) 691-1900 or by visiting www.smartix.com.
