The concert is scheduled to include performances by Maria Friedman, Leslie Uggams, Norm Lewis, Jeff Harnar, Eric Comstock, Johnny Rodgers, Klea Blackhurst, Sara Zahn and The Lascivious Biddies. Show time is 7 PM. Concertgoers can expect to hear such Styne tunes as "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend," "Some People," "It's Been a Long, Long Time," "I'll Walk Alone," "You Make Me Dream Too Much" and "Put 'Em in a Box, Tie 'Em with a Ribbon."

The upcoming CD, "Jule Styne in Hollywood," will be released on the PS Classics label May 23. The recording focuses on Styne's work for the movies, including his ten Oscar-nominated tunes.

Birdland is located in Manhattan at 315 West 44th Street. There is a $30 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum. Call (212) 581-3080 for reservations.
