The play co-stars Minnie Driver, is directed by Lindsay Posner (also lined up for Power at the National) and is produced by Mark Rubinstein, Old Vic Productions and Sonia Friedman Productions. As one of the most popular actors of his generation, Matthew Perry is perhaps best-known for the role of Chandler Bing in the Emmy-Award winning TV series "Friends." The show, in its ninth season, is consistently one of the highest-rated comedies on television.
Perry has also been successful in making the transition from the small screen to feature films — in 2000, he joined Bruce Willis in the Warner Brothers hit comedy, "The Whole Nine Yards." He is currently in production on the sequel, "The Whole Ten Yards," with Willis, as well as working on "Friends."
Matthew Perry's feature-film debut was in "A Night in The Life of Jimmy Reardon," starring River Phoenix, while he has been most recently seen in "Serving Sara" with Elizabeth Hurley. He also has a two-picture deal with Paramount Studios to star in two films.
