News Frog and Toad's Goede Will Star in Dorset's Sleuth Jay Goede, who was seen on Broadway in A Year with Frog and Toad, will play Milo Tindle in the Dorset Theatre Festival's upcoming production of Sleuth.

Jesse Berger will direct the Anthony Shaffer thriller, which will run Aug. 9-26 at the Dorset Playhouse in Dorset, VT. The cast will also feature Philip Goodwin as Andrew Tyke. Goodwin's Broadway credits include Tartuffe, The Diary of Anne Frank and The School for Scandal.

The design team comprises Wilson Chin (set), Theresa Squire (costumes), Josh Bradford (lights) and Daniel Baker (sound). Dave Polato will be the production stage manager.

Sleuth played Broadway's Music Box Theatre Nov. 9, 1970-Oct. 13, 1973. Directed by Clifford Williams, the original company featured Keith Baxter, Anthony Quayle, Phillip Farrar, Harold K. Newman and Roger Purnell. Shaffer's work won the 1971 Tony Award for Best Play.

Show times are Thursday-Saturday at 8 PM with matinees Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM. Aug. 9 performances are scheduled for 2 and 7:30 PM.
