Broadway News Full Cast Announced for Broadway’s Hadestown Performances begin March 22 at the Walter Kerr Theatre.

The complete cast is set for the Broadway premiere of Hadestown, set to begin previews at the Walter Kerr Theatre beginning March 22 ahead of an April 17 official opening.

As previously announced, Reeve Carney, André De Shields, Amber Gray, Eva Noblezada, and Patrick Page will lead the company, reprising their performances from the recent National Theatre bow in London (some also appeared in earlier incarnations).

Joining them will be Jewelle Blackman, Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer, and Kay Trinidad as the Fates, with Afra Hines, Timothy Hughes, John Krause, Kimberly Marable, and Ahmad Simmons in the chorus of Workers. Malcolm Armwood, T. Oliver Reid, Jessie Shelton, and Khalia Wilcoxon will serve as swings.

Rachel Chavkin directs the folk take on the ancient, underworld-set tale, featuring a book, music, and lyrics by Anaïs Mitchell.
