The previously announced Eve Best – a two-time Tony nominee for Best Actress in a Play for her appearances in A Moon for the Misbegotten in 2007 and The Homecoming in 2008 – who will play Cleopatra, will be joined by Clive Wood as Antony, the also previously announced Phil Daniels as Enobarbus as well as Kolyon Coy as Octavius Caesar and Sirine Saba as Charmian.

Also in the cast are Ignatius Anthony, Peter Bankolé, Jonathan Bonnici, Philip Correia, Jolyon Coy, Kammy Darweish, Paul Hamilton, James Hayes, Rosie Hilal, Daniel Rabin and Obioma Ugoala.

The production is directed by Jonathan Munby, with designs by Colin Richmond and music composed by Jules Maxwell.

Best has previously worked at the Globe as both actress – appearing as Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing in 2011 – and director of last year's production of Macbeth. She won the Olivier Award for Best Actress for her performance in the title role in Hedda Gabler at the Almeida in 2005. She is also a two-time winner of the London Critics’ Circle Theatre Award for Best Actress, for Hedda Gabler and Mourning Becomes Electra at the National Theatre. Other recent stage credits include the title role in The Duchess of Malfi at the Old Vic.

Wood, a regular member of the Royal Shakespeare Company for whom he has played leading roles in Twelfth Night, Richard II and Henry IV parts 1 and 2, among others, has more recently been seen in Flare Path and The Tempest (both at the Theatre Royal Haymarket) and King Lear and Filumena (both at the Almeida). Coy recently appeared in the BBC film "The Whale" alongside Martin Sheen. His other film credits include "The Fifth Estate" and "The Deep Blue Sea." Theatre credits include Posh (Royal Court and Duke of York's), Edward II (Royal Exchange, Manchester) and The Prince of Homburg (Donmar Warehouse).

Daniels' recent stage credits include The Knight of the Burning Pestle (Sam Wanamaker Playhouse), This House (National Theatre) and The Beggar's Opera (Regents Park Open Air Theatre). He was the voice of the Blur single "Parklife" and appeared in the song’s music video.

Saba was seen as Hermione in last year’s The Winter’s Tale at Regents Park Open Air Theatre, where she has also in previous years played Katherine in The Taming of the Shrew and Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Her work for the RSC includes Midnight's Children, Pericles and Tales from Ovid, and her National Theatre credits include Our Town, Sparkleshark and Pillars of the Community.
