Classic Arts News Full Programming Announced for 15th Annual Fall for Dance Festival The dance fest at New York City Center features premiere works by Tony winner Justin Peck, Sonya Tayeh, and more.

Full programming has just been announced for the 15th annual Fall for Dance Festival, which, as previously announced, kicks of New York City Center’s 75th anniversary season from October 1–13.

The ten-day festival features six world premiere commissions from choreographers Gemma Bond, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Tony winner Justin Peck (Carousel), two-time Lucille Lortel winner Sonya Tayeh (Kung Fu, The Lucky Ones), Caleb Teicher, and Jennifer Weber.

Five different programs will be presented, featuring performances by Acosta Danza, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ballet Hispánico, Boston Ballet, Caleb Teicher & Company, Cie Hervé KOUBI, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Gemma Bond Dance, Herman Cornejo & Alina Cojocaru, INTRODANS, Junior Cervila & Guadalupe Garcia, Justin Peck & Patricia Delgado, National Ballet of China, Nederlands Dans Theater 2, Pam Tanowitz Dance, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Rennie Harris Puremovement, Sara Mearns, Tayeh Dance with Heather Christian, and Tiler Peck (Little Dancer), Lil Buck, and Amar Ramasar (Carousel).

The festival begins October 1 with a champagne toast and portrait exhibition, featuring depictions of City Center artists by Nina Robinson, and pop-up dance performances by MOVE(NYC) and Caleb Teacher & Friends.

All tickets for Fall for Dance are $15 and go on sale September 9. Since 2004, Fall for Dance has prided itself as a way to introduce dance and all its varieties to large audiences through affordable tickets to its diverse programming. To date, it has presented over 220 companies and 118 premiere works to an attendance of over 300,000 viewers.
