The Arden Theatre Company production of Hedda Gabler, which opened Jan. 27 and runs through Mar. 8, has provided Grace Gonglewski -- who plays the manipulative title character -- with the "deepest, richest performance of her notable Philadelphia career," accorded to a glowing review in the Jan. 29 Philadelphia Inquirer.

The paper also praised the play's "resourceful" direction by Terrence J. Nolen (Arden's producing artistic director).

Gonglewski, a well-known Philadelphia actress (The Real Thing, Major Barbara), has over the years played more than a dozen roles at the Arden.

Also featured in the cast are Greg Wood (Tesman), Tom Teti (Judge Brack), Susan McKey (Thea) and Eric Hissom (Lovborg).
