News Gattelli, Cohen and Saint Part of tick, tick . . . BOOM! Creative Team at George Street David Saint will direct the George Street Playhouse's upcoming production of tick, tick . . . BOOM!

Saint, who is the artistic director of the New Jersey theatre, originally directed the Jonathan Larson musical when the late composer performed the show as a one-man rock monologue, Boho Days. Although casting for the George Street production has yet to be announced, the musical will feature choreography by Christopher Gattelli and musical direction by Randy Cohen. Gattelli choreographed both the Off-Broadway production of tick, tick . . . BOOM! and the show's national tour; Cohen also worked on the Off-Broadway run and music-directed the tour. Matthew Teague Miller will be the show's assistant director. tick, tick . . . BOOM! will play the George Street March 16-April 11. The autobiographical piece from the composer of Rent concerns an artist on the brink of success who is about to turn 30. The original Off Broadway company featured Raul Esparza, Amy Spanger and Jerry Dixon.
