Entitled "A Concert with Matt Bogart: Up Close & Personal," the 7 PM show will be presented at the Cabaret Oldtown in Wichita, KS. Concertgoers can expect to hear tunes from Bogart's musical theatre outings as well as songs from his solo recording, "Simple Songs." Bogart will reprise his role of Lancelot — he first played the part last season at New Jersey's Paper Mill — from Nov. 14, 2003-Jan. 4, 2004 at Washington's Arena Stage. Bogart also concluded a run as Camille Claudel's younger brother in the new Frank Wildhorn musical Camille Claudel at Goodspeed.
Matt Bogart was seen as Paul in the Kennedy Center mounting of Stephen Sondheim's Company, and his Broadway credits include Aida, The Civil War, Miss Saigon and Smokey Joe's Cafe. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music, Bogart has appeared in regional productions of Carousel and Side Show, and his debut solo recording, "Simple Songs," is available on the Jay Records label.
