News Ghost of Christmas After: The Last Christmas of Ebenezer Scrooge Plays NYC, Nov. 26-Dec. 18 Wonder what happens to the reformed miser in Charles Dicken's "A Christmas Carol?" Marvin Kaye offers his idea on the tale in The Last Christmas of Ebenezer Scrooge being presented in New York City.

The Open Book presentation will perform at the 78th Street Theatre Lab, Nov. 26-Dec. 18.

Billed as a sequel to the beloved holiday classic, The Last Christmas of Ebenezer Scrooge "depicts a kindlier Scrooge struggling to right the unresolved wrong hidden within Dickens's story," according to a release.

The cast features Stacey Jenson, H. Clark Kee, Anne Pasquale, Nancy Temple and Kaye himself. Costumes used in the show are provided by R J Lewis, of Arjay Entertainment.

Founded in 1975, The Open Book poses a mission "to present the best of all worlds of literature — prose, poetry, drama, even nonfiction — to our culturally diverse audience, with emphasis on new under-appreciated literature of excellence."

Tickets to The Last Christmas of Ebenezer Scrooge at the 78th Street Theatre Lab, 236 West 78th Street (just off Broadway) are available by calling (212) 362 -9014.
