PlayBlog "Glee" Ratings: Spring Season Episode 7 The "Glee" homage to Lady Gaga and the final performance show of the "American Idol" season led both Fox shows to win the ratings once again for the night of May 25, despite stiff competition from the “NCIS” finale (in the first half hour of “Idol”) and the “Biggest Loser” finale.

As tvbythenumbers.com reports, although the first hour of the “Dancing with the Stars” finale averaged more viewers than the “Glee” episode it aired against (approximately 17.4 million viewers for “Stars” to 11.5 million for “Glee”), “Glee” won its time slot by virtue of the ratings it scored with the 18-49 crowd (a 4.8, the same numbers it’s been scoring for the past two episodes). “Dancing with the Stars” trailed both “Glee” and “The Biggest Loser” in those numbers, averaging 3.45 with the 18-49ers.

The “Glee” episode, “Theatricality,” featured two Lady Gaga numbers: a lavish production number set to “Bad Romance,” and a Lea Michele-Idina Menzel duet on “Poker Face.” Menzel also performed “Funny Girl,” and the “Glee” guys handled two Kiss numbers — “Shout It Out Loud” (in full Kiss drag) and the quieter “Beth.”

Next week’s episode, “Funk,” will again feature Tony winner Menzel, and will also mark the return of Tony nominee and recurring (but recently absent) guest star Jonathan Groff. Songs scheduled to be performed include "Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof off the Sucker)," "Loser," "Tell Me Something Good," "Good Vibrations," "Another One Bites the Dust" and "It's a Man's Man's Man's World."
