News Glenn Close Hosts Lincoln Center's Red Hot Holiday Stomp for PBS Dec. 10 Jazz at Lincoln Center will usher in the holidays when Tony Award winner Glenn Close hosts Red Hot Holiday Stomp for PBS' Live From Lincoln Center Dec. 10.

Under the artistic direction of Pulitzer Prize-winning musician Wynton Marsalis, Jazz at Lincoln Center's annual holiday concert will feature Marsalis joined by musicians Wycliffe "Pinecone" Gordon, Wess "Warmdaddy" Anderson, Victor Goines, Joe Temperley, "Papa" Don Vappie, Reginald Veal, Dan Nimmer and Herlin Riley. Marsalis also collaborates with American poet Maya Angelou for Music, Deep Rivers In My Soul, which features actress S. Epatha Merkerson reading selections of Angelou's work. The newly created piece includes musicians Walter Blanding, Dan Nimmer, Carlos Henriquez and Ali Jackson as well as tap dancer Jared Grimes.

Red Hot Holiday Stomp takes place at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola in Frederick P. Rose Hall and will air on PBS Dec. 10 at 8 PM ET. Check local listings.

Glenn Close is a Tony Award winner for her performances in Sunset Boulevard, The Real Thing and Death and the Maiden.
