The pre-performance talk will also include Francine Prose, the author of the novel on which the musical is based.
The Glorious Ones, now at LCT's Mitzi Newhouse Theater, is the first production of Lincoln Center Theater's 23rd season. It's a backstage musical about the lives, loves, ambitions and art of the performers in a 16th-century commedia dell'arte troupe in Italy in the late Renaissance.
Platform Series events take place in the lobby of the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street). Admission is free and open to all; however, seating in the lobby is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis only, beginning at 5:30 PM.
Speakers and schedules are subject to change. Call (212) 362-7600 to confirm on the day of the event.
