News Gold, Rodriguez, Johnson and More to Be Part of June 24 Gay Pride Event Joe's Big Gay Luau is the title of an upcoming event that will be presented at Joe's Pub June 24, the eve of the city's annual Gay Pride Parade.

Dozens of performers will take part in the one-night-only event, which will begin at 11 PM and run through 4 AM. Presented by Jamie McGonnigal, the celebration of music and comedy is currently set to include Dare 2B Dif'rnt, Taborah, Nancy Yvonne, Scott Nevins, Judy Gold, Ritter Hans, Alysha Umphress, Marisela, Georgie Porgie, NIA, Jai Rodriguez and Michael Longoria. Bare's Natalie Joy Johnson will host the concert, which will feature musical direction by Jonah Speidel. Games and prizes will also be part of the evening.

Portions of the proceeds from Joe's Big Gay Luau will benefit The Joey DiPaolo AIDS Foundation and Camp TLC, a summer camp for teens living with HIV and AIDS. Visit www.jdaf.org for more information.
