News   Goodspeed's 42nd Street Will Keep Tapping to July 4 Goodspeed Musicals has added eight performances to its new production of 42nd Street in East Haddam, CT. The revival of the backstage musical based on the Warner Bros. film of the same name, will now play to July 4 at the Goodspeed Opera House.

42nd Street — the classic American tale of a chorus girl who makes good when the star is injured — features music by Harry Warren, lyrics by Al Dubin and book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble.

42nd Street is directed by Ray Roderick and choreographed by Rick Conant. The music director is Michael O'Flaherty.

Added performances are: Tuesday, June 30 at 2 and 7:30 PM; Wednesday, July 1 at 2 and 7:30 PM; Thursday, July 2 at 7:30 PM; Friday, July 3 at 2 and 8 PM; and Saturday, July 4 at 2 PM.
