Now Theatre Outrageous brings On the Middle Watch - The Titanic Inquest to the New York stage. Middle Watch, adapted from transcripts of the U.S. Senate and British Board of Trade Hearings, will play July 21 - Aug. 8, at The New 42nd Street Theatre.

First, the Titanic hit Broadway as a Tony-winning musical, then Jeffrey Hatcher used elements of the legend surrounding the crash in his off-Broadway play, Scotland Road. Now Theatre Outrageous brings On the Middle Watch - The Titanic Inquest to the New York stage. Middle Watch, adapted from transcripts of the U.S. Senate and British Board of Trade Hearings, will play July 21 - Aug. 8, at The New 42nd Street Theatre.

Adapted by Nicholas van Hoogstraten, the play recaptures two months and 2,000 pages of actual inquest testimony, which began on April 19, 1912.

The cast includes: Philippe Brenninkmeyer, Fred Burrell, Jeff Croteau, Ted DeChatelet, Lou George, Matthew McIver, Karla Nielson, Lynne Otis, Rob Skoltis, Larry Swansen, Vincent Wares and Cullen Wheeler.
