News Govich, Burrell, Leung, Roland and McVey to Star in North Shore Millie; Casting Complete Casting is now complete for the North Shore Music Theatre’s upcoming production of the Tony-winning musical Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Good Vibrations’ Milena Govich will star in the title role of the hit musical, which opens the 2005 season at the Massachusetts Theatre.

Govich will be joined onstage by Ryan Silverman as Jimmy Smith, Terry Burrell as Muzzy Van Hossmere, Richard Roland as Trevor Graydon, Amanda Serkasevich as Miss Dorothy Brown, Telly Leung as Bun Foo, David Rhee as Ching Ho, Becky Barta as Miss Flannery and Beth McVey as Mrs. Meers. The Millie ensemble comprises Maggie Anderson, Brad Bass, David Baum, Rosanne Colosi, Michelle Dyer, Janelle Engleson, Jeremy Hays, Drew Humphrey, Peter King-Yuen, Kathy Meyer, Melissa Rouse, Nathan Scherich, Jennifer Taylor and Kevin B. Worley.

Barry Ivan will direct and choreograph the Jeanine Tesori Dick Scanlan-Richard Morris musical that made a Broadway star out of Little Women's Sutton Foster. Millie will play April 26-May 15. The staging represents the first licensed, resident-produced production of the Tony-winning musical that has been seen on Broadway, in London and on tour.

The North Shore creative team also includes Dale Rieling (musical director), Russell Parkman (scenic designer), Vincent Scassellati (costume designer), Jack Mehler (lighting designer) and John A. Stone (sound designer).
