Lisa Peterson (The Poor Itch) directs the engagement that runs through Aug. 1 at the Parrish Art Museum in Sag Harbor. A full production of Motherhood, also under Peterson's direction, will play Hartford Stage in February of 2010.

In addition to Graff (City of Angels, Les Miserables, A Class Act), the cast also features Susan Kellerman (33 Variations, Judgment at Nuremberg), Saidah Ekulona ("Sex and the City," "The Sopranos") and Carson Kressley ("Queer Eye").

Described as "a loose chronological journey of motherhood," Motherhood Out Loud, according to press notes, "celebrates the very personal, diverse, funny, exciting, touching and altogether extraordinary experiences that boldly expose the unabashed truths that unite us all. From stepmoms to single moms, immigrant moms to grandmothers, and new moms to empty nesters, Motherhood Out Loud reveals with illuminating insight (and humor), the raw emotions and rocky roads we travel in life."

The work features contributions from Leslie Ayvazian, David Cale, Pat Candaras, Jessica Goldberg, Beth Henley, Deborah Zoe Laufer, Lisa Loomer, Michele Lowe, Asra Nomani, Brett Paesel, Marco Pennette, Theresa Rebeck, Luanne Rice, Adriana Trigiani, Annie Weisman, Cheryl L.
