Part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival, show times are Sept. 30 at 8 PM and Oct. 2 at 4:30 PM. Matthew Gardiner will direct a cast that includes Nikki Renée Daniels, Jeremy Jordan, Martin Moran and Hunter Herdlicka with Theresa McCarthy, Amy Justman, Andres Quintero, Stephen Schellhardt and Mariand Torres. Andy Einhorn is the music director.

The Greenwood Tree, according to press notes, is a "new musical based on the poetry of Shakespeare with music and concept by Will Reynolds. Sparks fly when a brilliant young poet (Herdlicka) falls victim to Puck's (Moran) notorious flower and enters a love triangle with his songwriting best friend (Jordan) and a beautiful woman named Sylvia (Daniels)."

The creative team includes Adam Koch (scenic consultant) and Jake DeGroot (lighting design).
