Multiple shows took their final bows on Broadway January 6, as is par for the course on the first Sunday of the year following a holiday-prompted one-final-hurrah. Of the four shows closing, one played its final week to over 100 percent capacity: Once On This Island.
The Tony-winning revival grossed $727,236 (92 percent of its potential) at Standing Room Only in the first week of the New Year. This was the third-highest weekly gross of its year-plus run at the intimate Circle in the Square Theatre, following the final weeks of 2018 and 2017.

Leading the pack once again was Hamilton with $3,344,261, followed by The Lion King, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Wicked, and Frozen.
