Orlando Jones, Tony Plana, Khandi Alexander, Emily Bergl, Annabelle Gurwitch, Alan Mandell, Steve Pickering, Raphael Sbarge, Adriana Sevan and Tegan West round out the ensemble drama directed by Richard Masur at the Skirball Cultural Center. The live performances will be recorded for radio broadcast. Set in the Ortiz Funeral home, the episodic play Our Lady of 121st Street follows the reunions — some good, some bad — of a group of old friends who return to their old neighborhood after the death of a nun.

The ensemble drama began as a LAByrinth Theater Company production at Center Stage/NY then transferred to and Off-Broadway engagement at the Union Square Theatre under the direction of Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Longtime LAByrinth patriot Guirgis also penned the critically-praised Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train (also helmed by Hoffman) which may soon see the Broadway stage. The duo also teamed up on In Arabia, We'd All Be Kings and a recent New York reading of a developing work, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot.

Playwright Guirgis will participate in an audience Q&A session following the Feb. 5 evening performance.

L.A.T.W.'s nationally syndicated radio show "The Play's The Thing" series is performed live at the Skirball Cultural Center. All performances are recorded for future broadcast to cities including Boston, Chicago, Seattle, Santa Fe as well as on XM Satellite radio. The two-hour radio broadcasts include special backstage features and interviews with actors, playwrights, and directors.
